S33 PzReg 2 in the painting instruction is a good example for a Kursk Tigher I. Upper chamber of the late model air cleaner is unified, instead of being two separate cylinders. How are the rubber band ones? Do they have the hole in the guide horns? Also, I noticed Dragon makes a set of late DS band tracks but was unable to find any refferences to early ones, do they exist? I noticed AFV Club makes early workable, and early "rubber band" ones. I actually meant AFV Club on the set of late tracks, but I dont have any early ones. What is the difference between the early or late air cleaners? The best way is to look for original vehicles. Early tracks without chevrons are right, but do not use the Academy ones, the AFV Club tracks are much better.
You can choose both, early and late Feifel air cleaners (late ones since 03/'43). Your Tamiya "Tiger I early Production" kit is right for Kursk. I am thinking Kursk was too early for Zimmerite, is that right? Anything else I should know? Do I use "Early" track, or "late" with the cheverons. Two styles of mantel, both binocular, but one reinforced. It has the drum cupola, mine dischargers for the turret and corners of the hull. It doesnt actually say on the box but some sites list it as an "Early" Tiger. I just picked up this kit (35216) cheap on Ebay and was wondering if it would work for a Kursk tank.
